My Sister I (Authentic - 2024)

Most of all, I’m grateful for the bond that we share – a bond that I know will last a lifetime.

As we grew older, Emma and I became inseparable. We would spend hours playing in the backyard, creating our own games and adventures. We would have Nerf gun battles, build forts, and have long conversations about our favorite cartoons. Our parents would often joke that we were two peas in a pod, and it’s a phrase that has stuck with me to this day. One of my favorite memories of Emma and me is from when we were kids. We were on a family vacation at the beach, and Emma, who was around 8 years old at the time, decided that she wanted to learn how to surf. I was a bit skeptical at first, but Emma was determined. She convinced our parents to rent her a surfboard, and with the help of a patient instructor, she was catching waves in no time. My Sister I

As I reflect on my relationship with Emma, I’m filled with gratitude. I’m grateful for the laughter, the adventures, and the memories we’ve shared. I’m grateful for the late-night conversations, the silly jokes, and the quiet moments when it’s just been us. Most of all, I’m grateful for the bond
