(Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting, Whom no sleep or slumber overtakes; to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth; who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not comprehend anything of His knowledge except for what He wills; His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not; and He is the Most High, the Most Great.)

Tajweed is the set of rules that govern the recitation of the Quran. It involves the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters, vowels, and diacritical marks to ensure that the Quran is recited in its original form. Tajweed is essential for Muslims to recite the Quran accurately and with proper understanding. The rules of Tajweed include the correct pronunciation of letters, the rules of Nun and Tanwin, the rules of Madd, and the rules of Idhar and Iqlab.
